Shrek lived in an insect-infested mud swamp. He loves staying abode for painting the signs like “KEEP OUT” and for making candles from his earwax. Ogre initially wanted to live on his own, but with time, he found it amusing to live with others. He fell in love with a princess and later married to the love of his life – Princess Fiona. She eventually turned into an ogre and gave birth to three children named Fergus, Farkle, and Felicia.
First, he thought that he was a trashy father, but eventually, his children ended up loving him.
Perhaps, this happened because of his strained relationship with his father, who, at the beginning of the film, tried to eat him up multiple times. He was made to bathe with barbeque sauce and was put to bed with an apple in his mouth to torture him.
His relations with his friends and enemies
Shrek made many enemies on his way including the Lord Farquaad of Duloc, Prince Charming, and his mother – the fairy Godmother, and the con artist- Rumpelstiltskin.
